Where can I study?

Tech Prep students are pursuing a wide variety of degrees and certifications through Washington’s 34 community and technical colleges (CTC).  The CTCs are a world-class education system serving nearly 500,000 people annually who pursue certificates, workforce degrees, and even transfer degrees to universities.

The State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) maintains an index of the most current offerings at all 34 CTC, as well as links to each college’s own website.

The Office of the Superintendent of Public Instruction maintains a list of school districts that link with the Tech Prep program.

Program Availability

Availability of certain programs depends on what is offered through your high school, and if those programs articulate to a local college program.  In some cases, it is possible for Tech Prep consortia to arrange an out-of-district agreement linking to a college program offered somewhere else in the state. Check with your high school counselor, career specialist or CTE teacher right away to find out what is available locally.
