Federal
The National Center for Education Statistics (of the U.S. Department of Education [USDOE]) 2005 report, Dual Credit and Exam-Based Courses in U.S. Public High Schools, 2002-2003, presents characteristics of dual credit programs (CTE, Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate).
The National Research Center for Career Technical Education (with co-sponsors the Institute of Educational Sciences and USDOE) published its Promising Tech Prep Practices as part of its “The Highlight Zone – Research at Work” studies. They examined 8 tech prep consortia across the U.S. and this paper discusses findings and practices, particularly in articulation.
